Japan to Tahoe

So after leaving the amazing food and culture.... and ofcourse the POW,
i ventured to the San Francisco on a mission to buy a truck and travel through the states then up to Canada. Meet up with some really inspiring crew in San fran who ended up tripping round with me for a bit.

So heading inland towards Tahoe we made a short stop, continuing towards Salt lake city and Jackson hole Wyoming. Meet some of the most amazing FUN people in Jackson and cant wait to get back there next time. Made it back to Reno Nevada and day tripped it between resorts and sled zones in Tahoe, was an epic space of time and everyday i went and shot i learnt soo much (as i do everytime i pick up a camera) and im constantly judging my work and want to improve.

The conditions in Tahoe, and well everywhere alpine are always a challenge. For those of us that cant stay away from the white stuff we can only adapt to enjoy and progress in this environment. i did a camping mission in what turned out to be a blizzard at an abandoned ski resort, thankfully there was shelter and plenty of oily wood in an old groomer shed to crank a fire.....

Six months 10 countries.

So the long awaited blog is now up and running and i have some fairly back logged libraries to sort.
I was lucky enough to have six months travelling early last year, here are a few images i took on my travels through Japan, Canada, the US and Central America..... I really enjoy looking over old images, inspires me soo much to continue the travels.

This photo was taken in the depths of the Niseko, Japan terrain... riding in pow like this is pretty much unexplainable.... EPIC

I managed to trip around to 14 different resorts throughout Japan and was amazed out how many of them fully forbid any off-piste riding...... couldnt help ourselves on days like this tho.
